Looking for what would work well on this host. I may some day put it on another host as well so I don't want an integral set up but for now its only for the 22/45 lite.

The cost is not a huge issue. I mostly will be shooting Bulk Federal jacketed ammo

They never tested the Ruger 22/45 Lite host @ nfatalk.net, just the pack-lite.

Be aware Ruger LW had barrel insert issues when suppressed maybe fixed now?

I guess you want light and small "pistol" can? Care about cleaning issue with aluminum? AAC Element for SS baffles and light weight.

If not caring about weight the best bang for features Is Spectre II.

I have access to anything I want for free if I was to pay for a can it would be a Spectre 2. It is silly quiet and the company won't screw you around if you ever have a problem.

I have a 22/45 lite and I just submitted my paperwork for a Spectre2. Let the wait begin!

It does not have to be a lite I just thought it would be cheaper to get a gun that comes with a pre-threaded barrel and I am a Ruger fan.

22/45 MKIII comes in a threaded barrel model. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/21_49_74/products_id/74663/Ruger+MKIII+2245+22LR+4+12%22+Threaded+Barrel+10150

I have the ruger mark III 22/45 threaded barrel (not the lite). I did a little trigger work and a few mods (see rimfirecentral.com for a lot of advice on ruger pistols/rifles)

I have my AAC Prodigy awaiting at my dealer, who is also a range. That can is quiet and very light. That's the one I bought...so I'll recommend it.

I have a 22/45 lite and use an Element, have yet to try another .22 suppressor, but feel there are many that would suit you. Just make sure the one you choose is serviceable by you.A SS Sparrow or a checkmate II or a Spectre II,I just don't like to use wipes, unless you want super small and maybe a clip or so before you put in another wipe.

I love my Kodiak TL which I just made a visit to at the dealer (5 months wait left....minimum). But I also have 2 Spectre II's on the way (5.5 months wait minimum) since I've heard EVERYBODY here rave about them......never heard one myself though....too many good things heard here and I pretty much trust these strangers with my money.....enough to order two of them!!!

Do what I've done and order one of several different models......I'm thinking of ordering a SS Sparrow soon......also need to get some cans coming that aren't black.....got a lot of stainless barrels that would look nice with a matching stainless can! (I ordered the Kodiak TL in the stainless color, but the dealer ordered black evidently......I was upset when we opened it and I saw it was black but wasn't willing to wait another 6 months for him to reorder a stainless one, wait for it to be made, and go through the Form 3, state approval for dealer, state approval for me and send off the Form 4 again)

Within 10 minutes you could turn the black finish into matte, brushed or polished Ti/SS can.

Liberty uses Norrell Moly Resin™ as a finish so it can be easily and quickly changed.

I would call Dave. He's popular for a reason. The sportos, the motorheads, geeks, sluts, bloods, wasteoids, dweebies, dickheads — they all adore him. They think he's a righteous dude.

That made me laugh, From one of my favorite movies. The advise on the suppressor was good too!
